I. Download and installation issues

A:

All of the products on our web-site have a free unregistered version that can be downloaded free of charge. Please go to the appropriate product page and click on 'download'.

A:

To install a new product, please download and save the setup archive on your hard drive. Double-click on the downloaded setup archive file (e.g. solarsystem.exe) and you will be guided through the installation process.

A:

You need to enter your registration name and code to unlock the full version and have this message removed. If you do not have reg details you need to order the full version from our web-site. Add the appropriate products to your Shopping Cart and proceed to checkout. As soon as the order goes through you will automatically receive your registration information with detailed instructions.

A:

To un-install a product, please click 'Start', select Programs, then choose the product you would like to un-install, choose the un-install option. This will launch the un-install program that will entirely and automatically remove the product from your computer.

II. Payment and registration issues

A:

Payment information safety is ensured by RegNow — one of the most reliable systems of registration, ordering and payment over the Web. RegNow is a Digital River company that has world-wide reputation. It handles all basic currencies and offers a range of payment options, including Wire transfer, Check/Money Order, Invoice and phone ordering via a US Toll Free Number.

All you need to do is to register the screensaver on your computer.
There are two possible cases:

Case 1. Astro Gemini Screensaver Manager is installed on your PC (if not, please see Case 2 below).

Open your Astro Gemini Screensaver Manager from the "Start" Menu --> find the appropriate screensaver in the list and click "Configure" (a window will pop up to configure the screensaver) --> you will see a button that says "Register", click on it --> a Registration tab will pop up --> Click "Enter Reg. Info" --> a new window will pop up with fields 'Reg. name' and 'Reg. code' --> enter the appropriate reg. details. See help on 'how to enter codes' in the relevant section below.

Case 2. Astro Gemini Screensaver Manager is not installed on your PC. You only have the individual screensaver.

Click the right mouse button anywhere on your desktop --> choose "Properties" --> select the "Screensaver" tab --> choose the appropriate screensaver from the list (if it hasn't picked itself by default) --> click on "Settings" (a window will pop up to configure the screensaver) --> you will see a button that says "Register", click on it --> a Registration tab will pop up --> Click "Enter Reg. Info" --> a new window will pop up with fields 'Reg. name' and 'Reg. code' --> enter the appropriate reg. details.

A:

The registration information is sent out automatically as soon as the order goes through at the e-mail address you specified during the payment procedure. If you have not received the order confirmation e-mail within a few hours it could have been blocked by spam-filtering software. Please, contact our customer service via email specifying the details of your order and you will be sent all the necessary information promptly.

Please, make sure that you 'copy' and 'paste' the code instead of typing it up. The way to do this to highlight the registration code (or user name) with your left mouse button from the e-mail message (do not include the spaces around it — just the code) and then right-click your mouse on the highlighted text, so that you get the pop up menu that gives you the option to "copy". You can then click the cursor into the registration code field in the appropriate screen and right-click to choose the option to "paste". This function will move the information from this e-mail to the registration field exactly as it is.

A:

You can download the screensavers anew from our site. Please go to the appropriate product page and click on 'download'. To receive your registration details back, please, contact our customer service via email and you will be sent all the necessary information.

III. Product issues

A:

Just upgrade your DirectX to version 8.0 or better free of charge from http://www.microsoft.com/directx.

A:

If you have a modern video card with at least 32 Mb of video memory, please be sure to install the latest graphics driver from your video card manufacturer. If you need help getting the new driver, please click here.

A:

The screensaver quits because something simulates a mouse move. Please go into screensaver settings (click the right mouse button anywhere on your desktop —> choose Properties —> Screensaver —> choose the appropriate screensaver from the list (if it hasn't picked itself by default) —> Settings (a window will pop up to configure the screensaver) and remove the check from the box 'Exit on mouse move'.

IV. CD Issues

A:

Our CDs are shipped by regular air mail and the average delivery time is 1-2 weeks. If you have not received your disc 2 weeks after you placed the order, please contact our customer service.

A:

The Complete Collection CD really does include absolutely all of the 3D screensavers you see on our web-site. The total number keeps going up and the new ones are promptly added to the CD. This is the perfect way of getting yourself an awesome collection that will satisfy the tastes of the most demanding screensaver fans.

A:

The CD will contain the complete full versions of the listed 3D screensavers from the collection. All, except the Complete Collection, will also include the free trial versions of the other most popular Astro Gemini screensavers that you can upgrade to the full version status any time at your will.

V. Astro Gemini Screensaver Manager Issues

A:

Astro Gemini Screensaver Manager is a very convenient tool that enables you to efficiently manage all of your Astro Gemini screensavers. Using the manager you can easily control the settings of each individual screensaver, switch on the rotation mode for your favorites, and stay informed about the latest releases, updates and news from Astro Gemini Software.

A:

Your Astro Gemini Screensaver Manager will not download anything without your explicit permission. It is set up to suggest regular Web Updates and we recommend doing that at least once every 2 weeks. That way you will always stay informed about the latest news, participate in relevant polls and most importantly – be among the first to gain access to the newest releases from Astro Gemini Software! If you have Internet access, all you need to do to run the Web Update is simply click on the 'Web Update' button in the lower left-hand corner of Astro Gemini Screensaver Manager. The Manager will then automatically check for new info and download it from the Internet.

VI. Discount Card Issues

Q:

Do I have to go to www.astrogemini.com through the Discount Card software? Will I be able to apply the card while I am on the site?

A:

Please always use the provided Discount Card software to visit our site. Just like in a regular store you need to ‘show’ you discount card to get the special price. By going though the Discount Card software you will always be identified as a card holder which will enable you to take advantage of discounted prices.

A:

Please send us a message including the Order ID mentioned in the confirmation e-mail you received from RegNow and we will help you get your Discount Card back. If you no longer have the Order ID number, we will need you full name and e-mail address you used when you purchased the Card.
